Links for a Lazy Sunday

I’m making this scarf. It looks complicated at first, but it’s really so simple and fun to knit.
Here’s a video with clear, simple instructions on how to tie a Celtic heart knot. Perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Pink Razors: An 82-year-old’s thoughts in the Susan G. Komen/Planned Parenthood brouhaha of last week. The whole blog is worth a look. I hope one day Alison D and I are awesome old birds like Margaret and Helen.
We Give Books is an organization where you can read picture books online. For every book you read We Read Books will donate one book.
The Uprise Books Project is an organization that fights poverty and censorship by putting banned books into the hands of underprivileged teens.
This is an interesting article about girls, their relationship with Sci-Fi fiction, and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.

And here’s a blog post Alison D sent to me. It’s a list of the best blogs for writers to read this year. Check it out.
