  1. I love these comics. I feel like this is what I spent most of college trying to explain to my friends…parties are too loud, I’d rather destress from the week by myself than drunk people…and the list goes on. Lol

    • Yeah … it reminds me of college too! It’s funny when the thing that ends up stressing you out the most is arguments with your friends about what is the best way to destress.

      • So true. If only people would understand sometimes being non-social can actually do wonders for your mood.

  2. This is great! I have to laugh because that scene at the birthday party is so like many of my nephew’s birthday parties. He would prefer to be off in a corner. Parties are the great separator of introverts and extroverts. Extroverts can’t understand why introverts feel uncomfortable in a crowded room. I used to hate the Christmas lunches at a former workplace for this reason. The games were all planned by the extroverts in the company, who thrived on games where you wind up humiliated (i.e., “your team has to stand up and sing Christmas carols once you guess the title”). They never understood why these games made the introverts very uncomfortable.

    • ugh I relate to you and your nephew so much. I used to go to birthday parties and hide in children’s play houses so I could be alone. That is less acceptable now … and I would guess I don’t fit in the play houses as easily.
