My Top Ten Auto-buy Authors

toptentuesday

There are definitely more than ten authors that I automatically will buy (or reserve in the library if I’m trying to save money) their books without needing to know much what the book is about. But here are the first ten that popped into my mind. Do we have any auto-buy authors in common? Let me know in comments!

Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme!

  1. David Levithan is fabulous. He has this way with words. Same with E. Lockhart. Both great picks! They should have made my list – except I haven’t actually bought their books yet…

  2. I want to be on the Lorrie Moore bandwagon, but “A Gate at the Stairs” left a poor impression on me. Maybe it wasn’t the best book of hers to start with. I do need to get my hands on some David Levithan books though–a few of his books are on my TBR list!

  3. I just read my first book by Laruen Willig (The Other Daughter) and I absolutely loved it! I’m really looking forward to trying more of her books. E. Lockhart and Sarah MacLean are other authors I’ve really enjoyed but for some reason just haven’t read anymore of. No idea why as I loved their books! Great list!
