Ten Books I LOVED but Probably Won’t Reread

toptentuesday2

Happy Tuesday, friends! Here are some books I LOVED but don’t anticipate reading again. Some of them are just really long or seem less politically correct (looking at you Gone With the Wind) or appealed to me in ways other than plot or character development (which are usually the two things that will make me pick up a book to reread). What books did you love but won’t reread? Or more interestingly, what books do you love to reread?

Thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this weekly book meme!

  1. Ready Player One- same here. I liked it but don’t really want to tackle it again? Game of thrones I actually have re- read a few times but probably won’t again. Gone Girl I’d like to read, if I can ever get to it!

    • Yeah I think with all the books you mentioned part of the fun was finding out what would happen, so rereading doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. But maybe once it’s been longer since I’ve read them, I’ll feel differently!

  2. I don’t know if I could reread Perks either because in my head I am convinced I didn’t like it but then I go back and read my review and apparently I liked it so something has gotten muddled in my head haha

  3. I haven’t read any of these books yet but The Perks and Ready Player One are definitely on my TBR. And GoT? I love the show but I don’t know if I would ever read that series, just because it is so long? 😀

I can’t re-read books. Whenever I think of re-reading anything, my horrible TBR comes to my mind 😀 So I twisted my today’s topic.
